The Box Target system is designed to function seamlessly in both subsonic and supersonic conditions. The target offers a cost-effective, accurate training solution for all shooters, from novices to experts. Utilizing a high-performance sensing mechanism within a wooden frame, the system captures the shockwave generated by projectiles.
This advanced scoring technology enhances the training experience for marksmanship, ensuring efficiency in terms of both time and cost. A step ahead of conventional paper, canvas, or wooden targets, the Box Target is universally adaptable, fitting seamlessly into any range – especially those known distance ranges that demand pinpoint accuracy in scoring.
Our box target is available in multiple configurations, with the option to include a horizontal or vertical lifting mechanism.
The shot's position is seamlessly relayed to the control system, whether on a desktop, handheld device, or the shooter's monitor. As shots are taken, the system instantly displays, scores, and updates both the average point of impact and the dispersion range. Hits or misses are visually represented on the control monitor, both graphically and via Cartesian coordinates, relative to the target silhouettes.
The lifting mechanism automatically transitions the Box Target between concealed and exposed positions, reverting to concealment when the shooting line is inactive. Powered by a motor, this system can raise and lower the target in just 5-8 seconds under ideal conditions. The mechanism, which includes a gearbox, limit switch, and drive chain, is shielded by a shutter when the target is concealed. For added convenience, a remote control enables users to adjust the target's position from anywhere on the range.
Within a wooden frame, a sophisticated sensing system, equipped with three sensors, captures the shockwave produced by the projectile. These sensors, functional in both subsonic and supersonic realms, use the generated signals to pinpoint the shot's position.
A rubber membrane encircles the frame, ensuring the sensors provide zero-wind interference detection. This membrane is crafted from a self-sealing material, leaving only a minor rip, not a caliber-sized hole, after a shot. If the membrane suffers excessive wear and loses its self-sealing ability, it can be easily patched with materials like a rubber patch or gaffer tape.
The system, both waterproof and dustproof, maintains its performance even under challenging environmental conditions like extreme heat, humidity, heavy snow, and strong winds. Its robust design allows for seamless operation in temperatures ranging from -25°C/-13°F to +65°C/149°F.
